Tag'em and Bag'em
The game is similar to the popular children tag game. One person
is IT and they have to tag other players to get rid of that state
and transfer it onto the other. The purpose is to gather the most
calories. You do so by gathering ingredients or by not being it. If
you are not it, your calories increase at a rate of 100/second so
it is in who's it best interest to tag someone else quickly.
The game starts when at least 2 players are connected. If you are
the only one on the map all you can do is walk around. Everytime a
new person connects there's a 5 seconds breathing time during which
no gathering is allowed. After these 5 seconds pass the new IT is
chosen based on the score at that moment. In other words, when a new
player connects, he becomes the new it.
Immediatly after the game starts nobody is it. After the first
ingredient is picked up the gather interval starts. For 30 seconds
players must gather as many calories as they can. After those 30
seconds pass who's it is decided based on the score. The player
with the least calories becomes it.
During the game you can prevent your oponents from reaching
ingredients by colliding against them. When a collision occurs both
players involved are pushed away in oposite directions with equal
forces. You can use this to your advantage if you make sure that
behind you there's a safe area and in front of the player you're
pushing there's a gap. You should be carefull not to collide with
who's it or you'll take his place. You should only collide against
players like you, called 'Regular Joe'.
When a tag occurs the two players involved are pushed away in
opposite directions with a force twice as strong as the one from
regular collisions, allowing the previous IT to make a run for it.
Also, when a player is tagged he can't see his 'victims' for 5
seconds, allowing anyone next to him at the moment of the tag to
run or hide.
To make up for these disadvantages, who's it runs 20% faster than
the other players.
